As the flagship university of Texas, The University of Texas at Austin serves the state and nation with life-changing educational opportunities for students, groundbreaking research and transformative health care solutions.
We exist to benefit the public, so once a year we welcome families, students and teachers from across Texas to visit our university. We call this day “Explore UT.”
On March 3, 2018, visitors will get a chance to hear from professors and UT students while seeing the labs, facilities, fields, classrooms and artwork that make the university exceptional. Our faculty members will lead activities for visitors that cover a wide range of disciplines, from theatrical performance and art history to computer science and engineering.
Parents, teachers and community members may also partake in campus tours, earn professional development credit and explore UT's museums and collections.
My hope is that everyone who comes to visit and experience what life is like for a Longhorn will leave our campus inspired by all that UT has to offer.
