Use your creativity and imagination to bring the Google logo to life using code. Make the letters dance, tell a story, or create a game. You can learn the basics of coding with this activity and learn all about how the professionals do it! If you finish this activity, head over to the Hour of Code website and choose whichever coding activity you’d like! With Scratch and CS First, anyone can become a designer and programmer for the day! Head to Google for Education to get started. See the instructions and get creating. Can you create a Google logo! Share a picture of your Google logo on Flipgrid. Recommended Materials: Computer, Keyboard, Enthusiasm! How does this activity connect to STEM theme of Moving Around: Land, Water, Air, and Space? Engineers have to be artistic and represent the world in technology. Represent Land, Water, Air, and space into your Google logo! Make the L in “Google” a Tree and have an earth/plant preservation themed logo Tell the story of water filtration or the water cycle through your coded logo Make your logo space themed!
