Exploring Majors at UT Austin

How Current Longhorns Found Their Majors
Longhorn Life
Age group: High School

Join the School of Undergraduate Studies for a live chat with four current Longhorns. Our panelists have spent time honing their interests and discovering what will ignite a lifelong interest in what will lead to a rewarding career. Perhaps they have found something that drives them to help others, or they’ve simply figured out what they’re really good at. They have advice to share about their personal journeys. Students will talk about navigating the transition from high school to college, share their best tips and tricks for navigating the process when it’s your turn/prospective college students, answer your pre-submitted questions, and more! Friday’s panelists are majoring in communication and leadership, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, French, and mathematics.

Don’t see a major you’re interested in? You’ll hear more about finding your passion and the right fit. Or you may discover a new field of interest you haven’t even considered yet! Be sure to register beforehand and submit a question our representatives can answer live!
