INSPIRATIONS Video

Art Education majors share their inspirations and aspirations in this short video. https://art.utexas.edu/art-education . The University of Texas at Austin, Department of Art and Art History offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art Education. These programs prepare students to teach in K12 public and private schools, art museums and community settings. Dr. Donalyn Heise, Art Education Faculty in the College of Fine Arts, and her students created this video as part of the statewide arts advocacy initiative known as "Big Art Day" in Texas. These undergraduate and graduate art education majors are future leaders in the field of art education. Participating students include: Carly Dugosh, Kathryn Cowan, Michael Shissler, Nancy Argueta, Meghan Alexander, Ariana Zaia, Leigh Vladyka, and Miranda McShan.
