Age group: Middle/Junior High School, High School
Join researchers from the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab to see what goes into building a rocket. The Texas Rocket Engineering Lab is an interdisciplinary college research lab at UT Austin, incubating the next generation of innovators and rocketeers. We are building and launching a rocket that will reach an altitude of 100 kilometers (the Karman Line) as part of the Base 11 Space Challenge. Join us to explore the various components of a rocket, and learn about how students like you can launch a rocket into space.
