Engineering
Age group: All Ages
Visit the Aerospace Engineering building at UT Austin virtually by aiding the Radionavigation Lab in tele-operating a robot. You will be driving a real robot around an obstacle course on the roof of the UT Speedway Garage, trying to beat fellow virtual visitors by achieving a certain goal. You must avoid all obstacles in order to succeed. Techniques used to control robots, collision avoidance, and precise positioning will be discussed in the virtual waiting room leading up to driving the robot.
