Project MALES is a mentoring group composed of undergraduate mentors from UT Austin. In this session, our mentors are seeking to share their stories and insights that have made them successful at UT. Through an interactive session, our mentors will share their stories and answer any questions about college life that our participants may have.

Hear from current UT Austin students about their experiences choosing a major. Our panelists will talk about the transition from high school to college, share their best tips and tricks for navigating the process when it’s your turn, answer your pre-submitted questions, and more!

Campus life can be stressful! Throughout the college journey, the ability to summon motivation can make the difference between success and struggle. In this session, get a taste of some approaches for managing motivation from an expert in educational psychology and student well-being. Parents and family members also encouraged to attend.

Do you want to travel the world? Our award-winning global programs give students a project-based academic internship with real world experience in three dynamic and rapidly changing cities - Beijing, Cape Town and San Jose, Costa Rica.  Hear from some of our students who have traveled to China, South Africa, and beyond. Knowledge is powerful and for years, the Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) has supported students of all ages in their preparing to attend college.  Join us for a conversation with current UT students who are also KIPP alumni.  They will share their experience in transitioning from high school to college and give advice to current KIPP high school students.
