Learn about the opportunities available to students in the Moody College. Our undergraduate students master the foundations and pursue innovations through seven major degree plans, including: advertising; communication and leadership; communication studies; journalism; public relations; speech, language, and hearing sciences; and radio-television-film.

Take a look into the classroom of one of UT's most well-known professors.  Matthew McConaughey joined the Moody College faculty full-time in Fall 2019 after serving as a visiting instructor since 2015, when he began co-teaching the Script to Screen production class with faculty member and director Scott Rice. 

Moody College of Communications' "study away" programs in Los Angeles and New York provide students unique opportunities to shape their future plans, progress toward their degrees and launch their careers. The semester-long UTLA program gives students the chance to live, work and learn in Los Angeles and discover what it really means to work in showbiz. Similarly, students in the UTNY program have the unique opportunity to study, work and play in the city where business, government, technology, entertainment and media converge.

Moody College provides a platform of study that is significant and vast, and our expert teaching faculty stand out not only for their classroom leadership but their innovative approaches to discovery and scholarship in their respective fields. Our scholars are motivated to also bring their generated knowledge into the world to help provide real-world solutions and assistance.
